Thom Hunt of Big Bamboo Studios has been practicing the art of decorative concrete for over 30 years. He strives to perfect and indulge himself in each sculpture and produces beautiful work.
On May 11-14, 2011, Thom Hunt is hosting the First Annual R.A.T. (Rock Carvers, Artists and Theme Builders) Campinar! This is your chance to hang out with R.A.T. members and fellow artisans and learn the tricks of the trade.
One of the hands on projects at the Campinar is remodeling a cabin on-site. Pictures of before and after plans are on the Vertican Artisans Thom Hunt page. All demos are hands on so you can jump in anytime and help out on any demo your interested in. The Campinar is $485 per person or $800 per couple.
